I subscribed by completing a form on line, and I filled in all my personal
data.

- That wasn't very clever!
Let that be a lesson to you, because you could be in serious trouble.

- What kind of trouble?

- I advise you to be more careful in the future when you're asked to
give your personal data on the net!

- Why's that?

- The website where you disclosed your references can easily
register them in a database.

- To what purpose?

- To allow other businesses and advertisers to use them to send you
more publicity.

- Is that why I receive those pop-ups all the time when I'm on line?

- Of course! If you really must subscribe to anything through an on
line form, you must never forget to "unmark" the little square that allows
the recipient to disclose your personal data.
